I offer a training package to Early Years settings and Infant schools, this includes the following areas:

• What is speech and language, and what is ‘normal’ development?
• What are the difficulties children may have with speech and language?
• How to identify children with speech and language difficulties
• What does it feel like to have a speech and language difficulty?
• How to support children with speech and language difficulties
• How to create a language enriched environment

I currently run a training course with the Bournemouth Borough SEN (Special Educational Needs) department, the courses consists of two 2 hour evening sessions. this is for Nursery Nurses who are training to become SenCos (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators).

I am able to provide these training sessions to all Early Years Workers, Teachers and Teaching Assistants who work with children from 0-6 years and training can be provided on site, within a staff meeting or training day.
